With so many DJ services available for you to choose from, it might be difficult to select one that best suits your personal needs and lives up to your expectations. That's my goal. Joel Scott DJ Services makes every event fun and memorable without the circus act. You have endless options with our huge music library. All your familiar favorites from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and today, Classic Rock, Modern Rock, Country, Blues, Hip Hop, R&B, Ceremony and Cocktail music, participation dances (Cha Cha Slide, Macarena, Electric Slide) and Karaoke.

Our Sound
The sound systems we use depend on how many guests are attending your event. If it's 100 people or more we use a more powerful system. That system includes 2 tower speakers that are 1000 watts each and sit on the floor. For smaller crowds, use a smaller sound system and speakers that I elevate with stands above head level to insure sound isn't blocked and carries throughout the entire dance floor (most DJs sit them on the floor). This also insures that guests don't get blasted because the speakers are in their face. Unlike most DJs, I run my sound in Stereo. This adds substantial depth to the sound.
Our Lighting
All of our lighting is state-of-the-art projection lighting, which brings the room alive with color beams and patterns that move to the beat of the music. Lighting systems are customized per room size. FOG: My fog machine is offered upon request at no additional charge. Though fog creates a stunning effect with the lighting, it's not for everyone, therefore, you need to ask for it, but at least I offer it as an option.

STANDARD PARTY PACKAGE: $125.00 per hour (1st 3 hours, $100/hr thereafter)
Premium, State-of-the art, Sony Vaio Computer and Gemini CD sound system, Behringer Eurorack UB1204FX-Pro Mixing Console, Gem Sound Speakers(15" woofer with high temperature voice coil) and Stands or Gem Sound 1000 watt tower speakers, ,1500 watt Gemini Stereo Power Amp, Custom design of your preferred music, Wireless microphone and special lighting effects. My light show will enhance the dance floor to give it an appearance of a Big City Nightclub! Lighting is included in my price. I believe in using lights to maintain a higher energy level on the dance floor. Many DJ's charge extra for their light show, I don't. Why pay up to $150.00 extra for lights if you don't have to?

Jockey / MC who will coordinate and announce all of your reception events.
Including any formal introductions, cake cutting, bridal dances, bouquet and
garter, etc. Cocktail, dinner and dance music.

the dance floor to give it an appearance of a Big City Nightclub! Lighting
is included in my price. I believe in using lights to maintain a higher

Since you never know, I prepare for the worst so we bring a back up music system to all events.
*Special Events and Holidays are $200 per hour
(Friday & Saturdays in December, New Year's Eve, Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th, Labor Day, etc.)
At Joel Scott DJ Services we do not work without a written contract. To hold your date we must have a completed contract and non-refundable deposit. We do not double book dates. That insures that if you need DJ Services longer than what was agreed upon, our DJ will be availble (at the $75.00 per hour extra charge).
